Sonia Fuentes

Sonia grew up in Turrialba, Costa Rica, and obtained a bachelor's degree in eco-tourism at the University of Costa Rica. In 1999, she fell in love with Tamarindo and moved there while still pursuing her studies. By 2012, Sonia had added a degree in business administration, and a master's degree in project management, while building experience in the hospitality industry. She currently teaches a university course on sustainable tourism, in addition to her career in hospitality. During her spare time, Sonia loves to travel, read, ride bicycles, and explore the beautiful beaches and forests of Costa Rica.
